Inspiration finds me through natural progression into the installative nature of sculpture. As I worship what it means to be myself through this process of practice and journey, there is a ritualistic sacrifice within my discipline of living. I look to moments that lend to a self-love of essential being and experience. Those moments have led, inspired, and brought me to the land of installation and sculpture in a natural progression of my art and through my practice. Through a journey of elemental materials, literally and representationally, the nature around me helps me to connect thoughts and ideas. My literal interpretations of my surrounding elements tend to come through in my sketches and visual adaptations in an illustrative way, whereas the actual form of the elements come through the materials that I am drawn to. I find aspects of balance and unity are themes in my art, giving to my intention to inspire and bring hope with my art practice.
